Warehouse Facility Transformation Started
September 20, 2022
Demolition is underway beginning the transition of a manufacturing and warehouse facility into a logistics building for Dermody Properties. The scope of work for Stone Creek Construction Group includes the repaving of the truck court and parking areas, all new dock packages, and fully renovated office space. The project is in a prime location in northern NJ near 16W of the NJ Turnpike.

Work Begins on EV Training Facility for Volvo

Stone Creek Construction Group is excited to begin work on a state-of-the-art electric terminal and training facility for Volvo. Located in Mahwah, NJ, the facility will be the EV training hub for the company's entire western hemisphere.

Case Study: 1776 by David Burke featuring Topgolf Swing Suite

Immersive pre-con work was a key component in converting a 12,000 square foot space in an office building into award winning destination 1776 by David Burke featuring Topgolf Swing Suite. A high-performance kitchen, beautiful bar and dining areas, and technology driven swing suites had to be carefully incorporated into the building in the heart of Morristown, NJ. Hospitality Destination Receives Good Neighbor Award

Press Coverage For Recently Completed Project

NJBIZ recently covered one of our newest projects, Drop Fitness, a unique fitness facility in Montvale, NJ. Over 8 months SCCG served as general contractor on the 23,180 square foot facility, with the project team being led by Project Manager Allison Koterba. The concept offers four studios under one roof: Fhitting Room (HIIT and strength), Humming Puppy (yoga), Physique 57 (barre) and Mile High Run Club (running). In addition to the studios are a training area, cardio, free weights, locker rooms with saunas and cold plunge showers, a kids club and cafe.
Backing The Athletes of Special Olympics

Ground-Breaking For SCCG's Newest Design-Build Project
June 17, 2022
Stone Creek Construction Group was excited to participate in the ground-breaking of the firm's newest design-build project, a state-of-the-art electric vehicle terminal and training facility for Volvo in Mahwah. Serving as Volvo's EV training facility for the entire Western Hemisphere, the building will be LEED Gold certified, featuring a high-efficiency HVAC system and solar panels. SCCG will serve as general contractor on the project, slated to open March 2023.

New Jersey is globally recognized as the "Medicine Chest of the World" for it's cluster of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical technology firms. The impact of this industry was evident at BioNJ's 2022 Annual Dinner Meeting and Innovation Celebration. SCCG enjoyed sponsoring this event that recognizes, supports, and celebrates the individuals and companies that are leaders and innovators in life sciences.
SCCG Sponsors Cornhole For A Cause

The Stone Creek Construction Group team had a blast at Cornhole for a Cause, an annual event by Bohler and Vanguard Energy Partners LLC. In support of Autism Speaks, more than $80,000 was raised. SCCG looks forward to sponsoring again next year and the team will be fine-tuning their tosses in the coming months. Congratulations to all who participated.



Supporting Saving Grace Fundraiser

Members of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and residents throughout the Greater-Morristown community gathered at 1776 by David Burke for the saving Grace Fundraiser. All in support of Grace, the daughter of LPGA Tour Pro Jane Park and Peter Godfrey, LPGA Tour Caddy, attendees enjoyed tips from LPGA pros in the Topgolf Signature Suites, a silent auction, specialty cocktails, hors d'oeurvres, and lots of friendly competition. SCCG's Michael Welty showed off his strokes to LPGA Tour Pro Megan Khang.
Project Complete: Pilgrim Chapel
at Shrine of Saint Joseph
May 1, 2022
May 1 was the dedication ceremony for the newest project of SCCG, the Pilgrim Chapel at Shrine of Saint Joseph. Located in Stirling, New Jersey this ground up build is a new religious structure for the church. The heart of the design is the reciprocal roof, providing a unique feature for the building. Designed by architect Bob Coletta the new chapel also contains a 12x12 foot mosaic depicting the life of Saint Joseph by Austrian artist Leopold Forstner.

Lending A Helping Hand

Donating time and helping the community is part of SCCG's DNA. Our Michael Welty recently participated in CoreNet Global New Jersey Chapter's Volunteer Day at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, and was joined by his son. Along with other volunteers, the two helped pack bags of pasta to be sent to local, struggling families.

The Clay Shoot raised funds for the philanthropic efforts of CREW Greater Philadelphia, which provides scholarships to young women pursuing degrees related to commercial real estate and supports the Chapter's philanthropic partner The Fund For The School District of Philadelphia. Attending were Project Manager Allison Koterba and Director of Development Michael Welty.
